Home Inspections for Buyers

A home inspection is a smart investment

because it can:

  • Assist you in making a confident purchase

  • Provide an UNBIASED opinion of the property

  • Help eliminate costly surprises

  • Prepare you planning for future home needs

  • Help familiarize you to the home's systems and maintenance needs

  • Add information that may not be included in the sellers disclosure of the property

  • Provide a platform for negotiation

What is included in a Home Inspection?

  • Superior Home Inspections follows the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) "Standards of Practice" when conducting a home inspection.  Your inspection will include visual inspection of the roof, exterior, foundation, basement, fireplace, attic, insulation, ventilation, doors, windows, heating system, cooling system, plumbing system, and electrical system.

  • A complete list of InterNACHI's Residential Standards of Practice can be found here:

What to expect for your home inspection?

  • Expect a knowledgeable, personable, and professional inspector from Superior Home Inspections.  Questions are encouraged and welcomed!

  • Our goal is to not only provide quality inspections, but to help the buyer understand the systems of the property (i.e. heating/cooling systems)

  • A full color report will be provided to each client as well as a free book that outlines helpful information on property maintenance and home ownership.
